TWU classmates: Welcome to my blog!
Hello! My name is Shara Strickland. I am seeking a master's degree in nursing education. I am continuing to work full-time; therefore I am taking classes on a part-time status. I have completed 24 hours with only 12 to go! I completed my undergraduate work at Abilene Christian University and The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. I have practiced nursing in the ICU and am currently running a school clinic. I live in McKinney with my wonderful husband. When I have free time, my husband and enjoy watching baseball and football. My husband and I just made an addition to our family. A King Charles puppy named ‘Pearl.’ She was given to me yesterday for my birthday. She is already settling into our home and becoming part of the family. I look forward to a great semester working alongside each of you as we go through this course together. My email address is: strickland@mail.twu.edu The web address to my blog is: http://slstrickland.blogspot.com/

Hi Shara! Nice to meet you and Happy birthday!
I'm working full time also and taking classes part-time. After this semester, I'll only have 9 more hours to go - plan to graduate next summer! How about you?
HOpe you have a wonderful summer!
By the way, thanks for the laughs!
Blessings!
Janice.
We too added a new friend to our herd. Went to donate food to the Cedar Creek SPCA and came home with a basset hound, Molly. Already thinks that she is the queen bee. Good luck this semester! I'm going to graduate with my MS Nsg Ed this December and have began working on my PNP. I've lost my mind!! Taking 13hrs and working 39hrs.
Nice to meet you! We are neighbors, I live in Mckinney also! Are you currently working at MISD or a clinic in Mckinney? Looking forward to a good "hands-on" semester...Good luck!
Hi Shara,
It is nice to meet you. I live in Wylie but travel through McKinney frequently - usually on my way to Denton or to visit a friend. I work in a Medicaid clinic in Plano. I wish you luck this semester.
